New shoes and 5 days to go.

As much as I fought it I had to get new shoes. The hard part was I really wanted to use the old shoes for my first marathon. I bought the yellow and blue Asics in Boston at Marathon Sports, so to me they were and still are symbolic. However with one mini marathon comlete and training for a full the miles hit about 422 (I keep a running log). 

Today I stopped into The Runners Forum in Indy and picked up my new Asics. Now the tough part is breaking them in with 5 days remaining. Sorry feet, but it was pain one way or the other. Yeah, the cushion was gone and notice the worn tread too. It was time but those shoes shall remain special to me as well as my time in Boston.
