It was an 'okay' run, the last two miles were quick(er), matching 7:53/mile pace. The first two were just rough... And just a cranky kind of slow. Usually I don't begin to feel warmed up until mile 5 or 6 anyway. It was nice to see my cat friend on the trail today. He usually hangs at the water area, but today I found him around mile 7 on my return back. And yeah, the time turned in... "Strange things are afoot at the Circle K."
And up to 922.42 miles this year.
It feels nice to slowly regain the strength in my legs and to lose the soreness that had plagued me most of August and September. Next Marathon is 4 weeks from now.
