So it's September and I'm pretty happy about that. August seemed like one struggle after another, but life can be that way sometimes, I get it. Happy with the run on Saturday, a lot less pain. I was really down on my milage for the month of August, I think my body was telling me 'Okay, enough. Time to heal.' It was the first time I ever took the advice of 'listen to your body' and relaxed my running schedule. And it seemed to work.
My goals for September are to get my milage back up to where it was in July (147 miles), and to have a strong finish in Dayton on the 16th.
