Still working through some legs injuries and I was honestly scared of this run. I was down on my mileage for the previous week in an attempt to recover. Only turned in 18 out of a goal of 37-40 miles. As usual the first 4 miles were painful and my app even stopped at .63 miles into the run (I found this out at 1.5 into my trek). At mile five my legs were in better condition and I had them warmed up, in my head I was thinking 'Turn back at 6 and get in your 12'... But...
I pushed out to 7 miles, did my turn around, and did get in 14 at what I estimate to be an 8:00/mile average. I'm happy to report that the quad pains seem to be gone for the most part, so tomorrow is just an easy 4 and then back to our regularly scheduled training program. I have 1 month and 3 days until the Air Force Marathon in Dayton, I will cross that line!
