This type of run gives me hope that Boston just might be a possibility some day and all the the work is paying off. Miles 1-5 were very slow and I was dealing with a pulled calf muscle... I decided to run through the pain and see what my legs had in them once warmed up.
Mile 6 - 7:31 Mile 7 - 7:59 Mile 8 - 8:13 Mile 9 - 7:52 Mile 10 - 7:21 Mile 11 - 7:37 Mile 12 - 7:26 So I mentally needed this and felt like I could have kept it up for a while longer too. Yes, I'm in pain now and need to get myself prepped for 8 miles tomorrow. Very pleased with this run. Despite having a chest injury mid-month and losing 4 days of running, I'm at 139.60 miles so far.
