It's been an 8-year process and I'm happy to announce that yesterday I shot the last of the video for 'The Boylston Line'. When I first spoke of this project in the summer of 2016 I had zero idea of what I was in for, the amount of miles it would take me to reach my goal, or how much I'd learn about myself along the way. I once heard that in doing a documentary you'll end up not using 60% or more of what you've shot, and you'll watch it about 100 times during the editing process.
At times on this journey I questioned my sanity and my ability to do this, to run Boston, and to turn it into a documentary project. It turns out I pulled it off and I wouldn't trade a second of the experience/adventure. Someone once asked me if I'd stop running if I ever accomplished Boston, the short answer is 'no'. Running saved my life and I'm having so much fun lacing up. Even on the rough days, it teaches me something. So what's next? I go through the last of the editing process and start submitting to film festivals. My goal is to get this in front of people and hopefully reach that person that was in my shoes (pun intended) in 2016. Never forget you are loved.
